The final youth road race for 2014 is the Sherdan Caldwell memorial hill climb on Friday 29th August.  This race will also act as the second and concluding stage in the Ballymena Inter-Schools cycling Championship.  Stage one was last week’s Sandy Spence cup RR. To be eligible for the Schools Cup, competitors must be a member of any Cycling Ireland affiliated club and attend a school in the Ballymena Borough. (Excludes primary schools)  Points will be awarded for all finishers.  The school represented by those riders who have accumulated the most points for both events will win the Brian Russell cup.  The individual winner will collect the Greer cup.  Riders who don't attend a Ballymena school are still warmly invited to participate in both events, all riders will be awarded a finishers medal.
