Causeway Cycle Challenge

Would you be so kind as to put an item on your Message Board/Website to remind your members that the Causeway Cycle Challenge is open for on-line entry, at

Whilst we will also accept entries on the day we would encourage everyone to use the on-line entry facility so that we can better plan catering and t-shirts.

Some details below:

We are holding our 2011 Causeway Cycle Challenge charity cycle on Sunday 31st July.

All proceeds will go to local Northern Ireland charities. The nominated charities are;

MacMillan Cancer Support

RNIB which includes the Blind Centre in Coleraine

There will be two routes, one at 30 miles and one at 60 miles long, both travelling along the beautiful Causeway Coast.

The routes start and finish at Coleraine Rugby Club and travel from Coleraine through Ballymoney, Dervock, Ballycastle (60 mile only), Ballintoy (60 mile only), Bushmills, Portrush and Portstewart.

Full changing and showering facilities are available at Coleraine Rugby Club.

Registration is on-line or on the day from 0830 and ride starts at 1000. Minimum donation is £20.

Each entrant will receive a T-Shirt. Refreshments will be available at points throughout both courses and at the finish.

The event has both static marshals at each turn/junction and travelling marshals. A back up vehicle will be provided for both routes.

The road along the route will also be marked with directions and signs will be posted also.
