Saturday 22 Feb saw the fiftieth anniversary edition of the Annaclone Grand Prix which took place in dry but cold conditions. The event was once again sponsored by Travers Engineering and saw two full fields take to the roads around the rolling Drumlin countryside.
The A event was a handicapped race for A1, A2 and A3 riders and it went from the gun with Sean McIntyre of Orchard CC breaking away early on and staying clear to the finish.

Mark McClure of Four Masters came in a few seconds down to take second while Thomas Martin riding for Caldwell Cycles (the first scratch bunch finisher) took third.
In the A4 race it was also a solo win. This time for Mark McGauley (M.A.D.) He was followed in by Strabane/Lifford's Nigel Connolly and Emmet Valley (Square Wheels CC).
