Tuesday 29th May Bann Valley road race Tyanee circuit (between Portglenone and Kilrea) 7.30pm start.

Ballymena Road Club – Chain Reaction Cycles – riders are expecting a big turnout of riders for their annual H&M Wilson cup road race at Slaght. The race, which forms part of the Northstone sponsored series of mid-week club events, takes place tonight Wednesday 30th May and will cover three laps of the Caddy circuit for a full race distance of 26 miles.

Last year it was veteran rider Alan Blair who collected the silverware, whenever the race also doubled as a round of the inter club league. Tonight’s edition, which starts at 7pm, won’t include the inter club league as the BRC round has already taken place.

Race marshalls will be co-ordinated by Richard Wilson with assistance from Patsy McGurk, Pius McKernan, Owen McLaughlin, Beresford Millar and John Shaw. Others who wish to assist should inform Richard before the start.

Friday 1st June until Sunday 3rd June Ras Donegal based at Ardara. (Open to A2 and A3 categories)

Monday 4th June Ballymena Road Club’s youth section cyclists will compete in a 4.8 miles time trial from Broughshane to the Ecos roundabout and back, 7pm start.

Wednesay 6th June BRC Combat Cancer cup 25 miles time trial Woodgreen from 7pm. The cup goes to the winner of the handicap section. Event observers are Jim Doherty and Brian Geddis.

On Saturday 16th June, Phoenix Cycling Club will be hosting "The Bobby Crilly Classic”

The course used for this event is famous for its spectacular finish at the top of Divis Mountain. Generous sponsorship from Draynes farm has ensured an equally spectacular £1000 prize fund.

There will be three races: The A1 & A2 race will be three laps of the circuit then up the climb, approximately 48 miles. The A3 race will also be three laps of the circuit then up the climb. The A4 race will be two laps of the circuit then up the climb, approximately 34 miles. There will be woman’s prizes in each race. Each race has a 70 rider limit.

Sign-on in the Lamh Dhearg centre on the Hannastown Rd, Belfast from 9:30. The neutralised roll out to Nutts Corner will begin at 10:45, with the racing starting at Nutts Corner at 11am.
