Louise Fullerton (BRC) was offered a place to compete in the Celtic Chrono on Sunday 13th May, a 22 mile time trial, from Stormont. Louise stated she was very grateful to Cycling Ulster for offering her the opportunity to compete in such a high level event, following her results in the UWA TT league, 2nd two years running. And especially alongside professional elite riders such as Wendy Houvenaghel. She thoroughly enjoyed the experience, the thrill of starting off on the ramp, the crowds, the commentating, closed roads and the support and shout outs from spectators along the route. Louise stated it was brutal conditions, strong head and cross winds, making getting a personal best extremely difficult.  A technical course with long drags, downhills, roundabouts, a couple of tight climbs and sharp left turns but it was well worth the thrill of flying back in through stormonts gates to the shouts from the crowds at the finish. Then getting the opportunity to watch the professionals show their talent coming in at the finish was inspiring. Louise commented it was a fantastic run event and an experience that will always be valued.
