Touring.
Ballymena Road Club’s touring section cyclists held their first "away for the day” tour on Sunday when Pius McKernan organised a tour of West Tyrone from Mountfield. Twenty two riders took part in the 50 miles tour which took in Killyclougher with magnificent views across the Strule valley. Then it was on through Newtownstewart, Baronscourt, Drumquin, Dromore and back via Omagh. Many thanks to Eamon and Philomena Sweeney for their hospitality and also to Marian McQuillan for the excellent post event catering, this was much appreciated by all the participants.

Tuesday 15th May Bann Valley road race on the Gortmacrane circuit at Kilrea 7.30pm.
Wednesday 16th May Ballymena Road Club will hold a 10 miles time trial at Woodgreen as part of their Northstone backed series of club races. Observers for this race are Peter Cuthbert and Owen McLaughlin.
Saturday 19th May Tommy Givan 68 miles road race Hillsborough 11 am.
Sunday 20th May North Down Grand Prix at Donaghadee rugby club.
