New Date for Cycling Weekly Ride with BRC
Friday, February 23, 2018
Following the publicity last year about Ballymena and Strava in Cycling Weekly Magazine, Patrick Trainor, from the journal, is to ride with BRC on the rearranged date of Saturday 14th April, 2018.
Please come along and support your club and its sponsors on what should be a great morning of cycling!
Groups of a maximum of 30 riders will leave Rex Bonar House from 9.30am. The route will encompass the Larne Road, Ballyeaston, Kilwaughter, Ballygalley, with a coffee stop at Glenarm Castle, and onwards to Ballymena via Carnlough - approximately 50 miles.
A lunch will then be served back at the clubhouse. There will be the usual A and B groups along with the touring group. Patrick may choose to ride with one group up to the coffee stop, and another group on the ride onward to Ballymena.
Points of Note:
1.All Cyclists within each run must stay together in a controlled cycle.
2.There will be two marshalls in each group, at the front and the back, controlling and rotating the group.
3.Club tops and colours should be worn.
4. ALL participants must have valid Cycling Ireland/BRC membership on 14th April
