Inglis wins 2017 Blair International Red Hand Trophy
Saturday, May 27, 2017
The Blair International Red Hand Trophy took place today. Thankfully the weather forecast for thunderstorms held off and the riders competed over the 65 miles circuit without any rain. A number of breaks were attempted throughout the day, but the one that stuck was initiated by Black Rose rider, Ian Inglis. Several riders jumped with Ian and the rest of the peloton were unsuccessful in pulling them back as they climbed from Carnlough towards Broughshane. Ian's magnificent form continued as he was the clear winner crossing the line!
BRC would like to wish all riders involved in crashes today a speedy recovery.
Many thanks to all Marshalls, volunteers, BRC members, CI Commissaires and the assistance of the PSNI to make the race happen!! 🏁
