Tommy Wins Road Racing League!

29 August 2011
The anticipated "final round showdown” between league leader Tommy Wilson and challengers, Simon Taggart and Mark McCullough, never really materialised at Glarryford on Wednesday night when, first of all, Mark McCullough didn’t take part and then the handicap stifled the efforts of scratch men Wilson and Taggart.
It suited Tommy ok though as most of the league points were "up the road”, but I’m sure he would have liked to have been up at the front of the race too.
Tommy scored in all eight rounds and had to drop his lowest score, one point. He amassed a winning total of 50 points while Alan Blair’s third place moved him up to second overall with 45. Simon Taggart was third with 43.
