Vispa Kenya Charity run from Ahoghill - Sat 25 June

Richard Cromie thanks all who took part and supported the charity run. He said

"it was great to see so many come out to support such a worthy cause. Couldn't have done it without the help of so many: Food stops, all thanks to the three lovely ladies, those who helped organise and play there part. Thanks to BRC for supporting us, Bannvalley, Dunloy and for others who had only done 30 miles before today!!

I will keep you all updated next week when we get all the monies in, however people have been so generous and this will go a long way to help those who have very little. God had been good, no crashes and the weather turned around for the latter half. Photos will be on Vispa Facebook page hopefully next week.

£6000 was raised by the hike and the cycle. This is absolutely brilliant and really appreciated and a sincere thanks on behalf of the children at Vispa. This will go towards the provision on new toilets at the primary school , and a week long eye clinic for the children and the local community when the team visits Kenya in August . May God bless you all for supporting this worthy cause. Thank you so much!"
