This Saturday the Ballymena Academy past pupils association are organising a charity cycle ride to the coast. The event registration commences at 10am with the start scheduled for 10.30am. The entry fee is £15 with Diabetes UK the chosen charity.

Jane Allen is one of the organisers and she says "Everyone will be made welcome. The ride starts and finishes at the Academy sixth form centre. We will be heading out through Broughshane and along the Coast and back to school .There will be a water stop in Glenarm and soup, rolls, tea/coffee on return. There is just the one course which is a total of 39 miles”
