The event, which forms part of the Northstone sponsored club race series, also attracted twelve visitors to the ultra fast A26 Lisnevenagh road course.

Conditions were very favourable for the event with dry roads and a headwind on the outward leg to Dunsilly.

Bankhead, who clocked 21.41, while Jason Burns finished a close third with a personal best 21.43.

Eileen Burns was fastest in the ladies section with a personal best 21 minutes 53 seconds – a time which good enough for fourth place in the club result. Eileen also won the handicap section with a nett time of 23 minutes 05 seconds, while David Barton (Carn wheelers) was fastest visitor with 21 minutes 40 seconds.
