Carn to Coast Cycle Event 14 June

14 April 2015

Carn to Coast

Slaughtneil GAC, in association with Granaghan Outreach, are holding the "Carn to Coast”  100KM fundraising cycle event on 14th June 2015.

We are delighted that the legendary Sean Kelly will be joining us for the day, and will be cycling the full route with us.   Sean will make his way through the peloton whilst on route, to ensure exposure to all cyclists.   He will also be available for photo opportunities prior to the start of the run, and during the post-cycle BBQ.

The route starts at the Slaughtneil GAC club on the Halfgayne Road (about 3.5 miles from Maghera,  3 miles from Swatragh), and makes it way to the coast at Benone via Kilrea and the outskirts of Coleraine.  The route then makes its way back via Limavady, Drumsurn and Glenullin.

Details of the route can be found on MapMyRide at:

Sign-on on the day begins at 8:00am and Sean will lead the pelothon off at 9:30am.

Refreshments will be available before, during and after the cycle run.
